ROLF – 14 Speeds and the World is Your Oyster!

In the middle of the 70s a handful real guys modified their 30“ Schwinn balloonwheels to ride down the hillsides near San Francisco with their „KLUNKERZ“. This stunt would later become what we know as mountainbiking. This unconventional bit of history was a major inspiration for our MODERN-SERIES. Joe Breeze and we paid homage to exactly these bikes with a fascinating ride at their birthplace in 2007 - the legendary REPACK. As coronation of the modern series, Rolf is equipped with the queen of all internal gear hubs: the 14 gear ROHLOFF Speedhub, offering an enourmous range.

With the models of our MODERN-SERIES you can both choose between balloon wheels GEAX or SCHWALBE and the hub generator lightning machines from SON or Busch&Müller. That is how dirt roads become highways and the night becomes day, whether you ride the REPACK in Marin County or the BREVET for Paris-Brest-Paris.
